Ansonia “Crown” Crystal Regulator Clock, Circa 1920. This is an Ansonia “Crown” crystal regulator with an open escapement. It has an 8 day rack and snail strike on a heavygong. The clock has a rich gold finish in good original condition. The beveled glass panels are excellent as well as the 4″ enamel dial. This clock is in good running order. C.1880, Ansonia “Crystal Palace\’, less dome. This is a very clean example, except for the absence of the dome. Regains original dial, pendulum, statues, etc. The statues are of a hunter (with flintlock rifle), and a fisher-woman, with net. The gilding is virtually all worn away on the statues, leaving an aged look. Runs and strikes, but needs cleaning; see Palmer”s “Treasury of American Clocks\’, page 201, for the same model and statues. Height 17\’

C.1880, Ansonia, “Crystal Palace No. 1 Extra”, less dome. This is a clean clock, nicely restored, the walnut base and back splat refinished, rosettes replaced, mov\’t cleaned and the dial re-papered. Retains old finish on statues of Hunter and Fisherwoman. Barrel pendulum is old. We see domes advertised in several places, including Ben Bowen and Sal Cabibbo. Ly priced this at $600 (1998) without dome. Height 17 inches

C.1905, Ansonia Royal Bonn, “Crystal Regulator No. 4” shelf clock in good original condition. This clock is the color of a light gray pearl, with a rainbow glaze, and gold and green highlights. Porcelain dial and all beveled glass are excellent, and there are no chips nor cracks in the case. A few of the gold highlights have been rubbed off due to regular dusting. Retains original fancy pendulum with cast and gilt top and bottom. Runs and strikes OK, but would benefit from cleaning. There has been considerable demand for these Bonn crystal regulators over the past few auctions. Height 17 “

Mixed lot: C.1895 Ansonia DIANA statue, now with a recent Chinese swinging arm, made to deceive, with Ansonia trademark stamp on the movement. The statue is in nice condition and the arm is a remarkable copy of an Ansonia and seems to run. If original, this would be worth around $4500. Height 30 inches

Ansonia Clock Co. hanging, “10 Inch Drop Octagon-Gilt Calendar”, ca 1906. Rosewood case is 21 1/2 inches high, has gilt around the top and base, good original tablet, label, dial, and hands.
