C.1905, Ansonia, BON TON Carriage clock in fair to good condition. Note the dial is cracked and most of the gilding is worn off. This is an 8-day model. See LY, Ansonia book, item 214, page 88. This clock sold for $10.50 when new. Height with handle up 5.5 inches

Ansonia Clock Co., “Cabinet A”, ca 1894. There are 6 models in this series of mantle clocks, each similar, but yet different. This one is 19 inches tall, an antique oak case with brass trimmings. Case and ornaments extremely clean. Not refinished as there is an accumulation of grime still in the grooves and corners. It was probably cleaned with one of the mild modern cleaning products.Porcelain dial ring, gilt metal inner dial. French sash, heavy beveled glass. 8 day movement strikes a gong on half hours, running. Complete and all original. Ly-Ansonia No.846.

C.1910, Ansonia “CHEMUNG” porcelain china clock in very good original condition. This is an attractive clock with dark pink accents; much of the gold highlight has worn away. Floral decorations are yellow and dark pink dahlias, below the dial and top and sides as well. Original Ansonia movement is sound and complete; no chips nor cracks in case. For the collector who likes porcelain, but cannot afford the Bonn series. Height 10 1/2″

Ansonia Clock Co. figure clock, the “Combatants”, ca 1894. One of their most poplar double statue clocks. Individually they are Attila and Mars. This one has been in a private collection for many years, and well protected. As nice and original as you will find. The enameled iron base is 19 inches wide and has a Frieze of Roman characters across the bottom. With the clock tower it is 21 inches high. The metal is finished in French Bronze and retains all the finish. Original pendulum and weapons.Movement is 8 day, striking a gong on half hours., and running. 2 piece porcelain dial with open escapement, Rocco sash, beveled glass, all near perfect. If you want one of Ansonia\’s most poplar double statue clocks, and want it near perfect, this is the one. Ly-Ansonia No.478.

Ansonia Clock Co., crystal regulator, “Crown”, ca 1914. The case is practically restored. It was disassembled, metal parts painted gold (very good for gold paint), movement was cleaned and is now running well. They went on to bigger and better jobs leaving 2 ornaments off the top-front of the case. I would think they are now lost. The bezel was put in a cleaning solution, which cleaned off the gilt right down to the copper. The polished brass body of the case is fine, just top and base painted gold. Glasses need to be tightened a tad. Correct 2 jar imitation mercury pendulum, excellent 2 piece porcelain dial with open escapement. 8 day, half hour cathedral gong strike. Ly-Ansonia No.357.

C.1880. Ansonia “Crystal Palace” , and except for an old re-paper on the dial, in very good original condition, with a small repair to the dome, lower rear. The dial, hands, base, statues and pendulum are original and this is a great looking clock. Statues of the Rifleman and Fisher Lady are in nice condition. Height 18.75 inches

Ansonia Clock Company “Crystal Palace No. 1 Extra”, C. 1880. Clean top to bottom, everything original under the glass, dial, pendulum, statues, 2 piece paper dial. The glass dome is a contemporary replacement, several tried until one fit just right. 18″ high, including the dome. The mirror is showing a little age, but that is good, at least we know it is original. The walnut base is clean and shining, all the metal is clean and bright. 8 day time and strike movement is running very strong, strikes on a nickel bell. Stands 16.5″ plus the dome.
