    this is a large dial (4″) arm, in good original condition, however there is corrosion on the rods. The statue also retains original finish, well worn, with base metal showing through about 30%. Overall a good example of an earlier swinger. Ht 24.5″

    Ansonia Clock Co. New York, C.1895, “FISHER” {woman}, swinging arm timepiece, 8-day, the movement contained within the ball at top, the entire arm swinging without apparent impulse. Note the Fisher has her right arm up to support the ball, while the Huntress has her left arm raised. This is correct.

    The ball appears to have had a polished nickel finish, now oxidized and with mild pitting. An old overcoating has turned a pale blue. Some oxidation on rods. The statue was repainted maybe 25 years ago, a brown color, and gold Rub’n’buff applied to edges and raised areas. Ht 25″

    Total height as pictured is 25 inches, arm alone is 23 inches. Minor wear on the rods, balls restored several years ago, good patina on the statue, repaired where the bracket fits into her hand, you most always see repairs there. The 8- day time only movement is a reproduction of the original. These movements can be bought from Timesavers. If all original, this clock would be worth $2500 to $3000. You can get this swinger a whole lot cheaper, and enjoy it while you look for an original movement. I have seen them sell on EBay. Ly-Ansonia, swing clock section.

    Good original clock with nice patina on the statue. There is no fish “stringer” in her left hand going down to the fish, as shown in catalog pictures. I don’t know if I have ever seen a stringer. Swing arm is 23″, very good overall, some wear on rods, balls restored years ago. 8 day movement is in good running condition. Total height 25″. The swinging arm has old surfaces with some wear, and there is a stress split in the thin formed brass round head (very common) and small dents around the front bezel.     in excellent condition, professionally cleaned and running well. This is a tri-color model, starting at the top with dark pink, shading down to yellow and with dark green at the bottom. We sold the sister to this clock last May for $1600, and expect this one, which is crisper, to do at least as well, however in the spirit of the auction we will provide a reasonable estimate. The 3rd image is from the side. The original gold highlights on this clock are outstanding. This is the “star” of our Bonns today. Height 14″

    This is an attractive two-tone, pink and yellow case with rose decorations and good trademark on the rear. The only thing that keeps this from being excellent is a chip by the right winding hole that was filled in long ago and does not match well (really only noticeable up close). Retains original rear cover, pendulum, hands, etc. Although it is running, it would benefit from service before prolonged use. All of these Bonns have been setting price records on internet auctions.     What a clock! Large at 14.5″ high, 15″ wide. Stylish with the handles on the sides and thecurving of the case. It is also different than others because the reeds andflowers on the sides are molded into the case as well as painted, where normallythe flowers are just painted on the Bonn. Those molded flowers are all goldand more gold was used all over the case than normal. This is a very colorfulcase with blues used top and bottom, yellows and greens in between, and theyellow and pink flowers painted on the front and top.     Ansonia Royal Bonn “La Layon” in Mint Condition

    Porcelain clock, Ansonia Royal Bonn “La Layon” model in mint condition. Circa 1900. The actual measurements of the clock are 14 1/8″ tall, 14 1/2″ wide at the base, 5 1/2″ deep. The reference book states 14 1/2″ high by 15″ wide. The porcelain dial is 4″, overall measurement is 5″. The maker is Ansonia Clock Co., Brooklyn, N.Y. Condition is MINT, 100% original. No cracks, chips, or repairs to the porcelain. Minor age crazing to the glaze. This is to be expected on an original. The signed case, movement, porcelain dial, hands, cast brass bezel, beveled glass, seat board, gong, pendulum and brass dust cover are all original. This clock is Not a chinese reproduction and there are no reproduction parts on it. The case is marked Royal Bonn 1755 Bonn Germany. The back of the case is also marked “La Layon” No. 2739″ “H” with a diamond with the number “11” inside and a round stamp that I cannot make out what it is. All of these marks were embossed in the porcelain at the time of firing. This is a rare case model of the French or Rococo sash design, especially these colors and floral decorations; from the top of the Ruby or Victorian Rose color which flows down the case into a light blue, then light green on the sides and then dark green at the base. The clock case has extensive floral decorations; beneath the dial are hybrid yellow roses and pink Rugosa roses, on the top of the case on either side are yellow daisies, in the center top is a gold gilt four-leaf clover, on the sides of the front of the case are high relief stylized flowers in Art Nouveau style. 95% of the gold relief is high relief detailing, it is original and has not been touched up. The movement is a week duration with hour and half hour chime. The movement is restored and has the original steel pallets. The clock runs accurately and the pendulum has a strong amplitude.

Decorated in the ever poplar decorator colors, many shades of red, with pink, white, yellow, and purple roses and other flowers. A light sprinkling of gold striping. Movement is 8 day, open escape on the 2 piece porcelain dial. There are major hairlines on the dial ring. I will pack a new outer ring with the clock, you install it. It is also missing the back door. I will include one of those also. There are no breaks, or chips in this beautiful case. This is one that should bring $1500 or more. Ly-Ansonia No.2642.
