Ansonia “Venice” Electric Novelty Clock
The enameled iron case has an 8 day T&S movement and an ornate metal dial. The clock has been electrified with a perpetual motion apparatus attached to the top of the case. The “On/Off” switch is on the side of the case. Not tested. (There is a small chipped area on the top of the case.) 13″ Tall

Condition: Enameled iron case in excellent condition with most of the gilding in the incised design intact. Original paper dial is slightly dark with some stains. The paper in the center are of the dial has been replaced. Hands are original. Movement is signed. With original Ansonia pendulum. Height 10 inches

With an 8 day 1/2 hour strike movement and a marked porcelain dial with visible escapement. In a black enamel case with gilt decorations and metal lion head ornaments and feet.. The key and pendulum are with the clock. (The clock wants to run but does not strike.) 10 1/2″ Tall
