The 8-day Ansonia movement is running strongly, striking on the hours and half-hours on the cathedral gong. Horton’s sold this clock in 2015 for $680.

Otherwise this is a great Royal Bonn with good colors: dark red at top down to yellow to green at bottom, sound movement and original pendulum; would be $700 if perfect; height 11′

in generally good original condition, except for a small stress crack on rear leg, and a small piece out of the left front toe. This is an uncommon model and with pleasant cream colored base with lime green and gold accents. There is a slight discoloration under the dial from over-oiling the movement. Retains excellent porcelain dial with NO chips nor cracks and with open escapement. For reference, see Ly’s Ansonia book, page 637; we sold the last of these with a repaired top for $1900+, lot 442, April 2001. Note height 15″

The clock has withstood the test of time very well. I see only one small hairline on a rear leg. This is a very rare and unusual case style for Ansonia. One would think the top knob would have been knocked off several times but it is unbroken. Case is cream colored with lime green, pink, purple, and red accents. There is a nice distribution of gold striping to set it off. 8 day, half hour gong strike, 2 piece porcelain dial, open escapement, all very nice.Large 15 inch high case. I checked many auction catalogs for this model andnotice that SchmittÕs Auction sold one April 2001 with a repaired top, for$1900 plus. See Ly-Ansonia No. 2705.

This is a very rare model according to the Millers. It is 15″ high, 11″ wide. The case is primarily white with almost half being a very light green around the edges. There is also a nice amount of gold trim, and flowers of blue and red, and shades in between. A most unusual case not only because of the open space and knob on top, but the latticework over the front. Ly-Ansonia No. 2705.

This is another perfect porcelain clock from a great collection of Ansonia Royal Bonn clocks. They spent a large portion of their life inside a glass case, for display only. It is very clean, shining, properly marked, front and back. This case was also molded leaving openings, on each side of the dial, and flanked with sea serpents?, lions head on top. It stands 11 1/2 inches high, 11 inches wide. Finished in beautiful decorator colors, blues, yellow, rose, light green, and tastefully added gold around the edges. Decorated the same on the sides and top. 8 day, gong strike, French sash, beveled glass, 2 piece porcelain dial and open escapement feature. You won’t find one nicer .Ly-Ansonia No.2546.

This is a multi color case, with dark green and the bottom, changing to yellow as it rises and ending in dark aqua at the top; the hand painted flowers are bright yellow and dark pink water lilies on a pond. The sides of the case feature griffins set at a 45 andNo.176; angle, the case open behind the griffin heads, allowing light to pass through. With good Bonn Trademark on the rear. Note: this very model is pictured on the cover of the new clock price guide from Robert and Harriet Swedburg. Height 11 1/2″

This is a very pretty white porcelain case with painted flowers and blue and gold accents. There is a little bit of wear to the applied gilt work but is much better than average. The front edge of the left front foot has a little damage and was repaired with gold paint (the only shortcoming that keeps this item from being excellent). The porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. The movement appears to have been recently serviced and is in running condition. Height 10.25 inches

in tri-color case, starting with aqua at the top, descending to yellow and ending in dark green. There is in this case on the right front corner a dark hairline crack that extends an inch in each direction from the corner. It is hard to notice, but is there. Solid porcelain dial is excellent, and clock retains original hands, nut and pendulum. This rendition of lilies is very attractive and the gold highlights are still good. The cousin to this clock sold last November, lot 438 for $900. Height 12″ Reserve $600

This is the same color scheme as the above lot, green, yellow, aqua, the flowers on this are dark pink roses (under the dial and on both sides of the case. The reliable Ansonia movement has a nice porcelain dial with Arabic numerals plus open escapement in the dial center. No chips nor cracks are evident; with good Bonn Trademark on the rear. Note the china is perforated above the dial, adding to the 3 dimensional affect and allowing light through, moreover, the flowers are molded into the case front and leaves on the sides. A great example of this model. Height 12″
