This is another beautiful Royal Bonn, properly marked on the back. I hope the picturedoes this clock justice, and shows the blue top with a lot of gold, the twoblue finials, and progressing down thru light blue, yellow, to the aqua greenon the base. Beautiful pink flowers front and sides. The catalog pictureis black, almost worthless for identification purposes; I hope my pictureshows the lions head in the middle of the base. Clock is 13 inches high, 11 inches wide, much larger than the clock shown as a LaFriese, in Ly-Ansonia, No. 2666. Another near perfect clock from the Miller collection.

C.1890, Ansonia Clock Co., “La France”, with open escapement, and in generally good condition.

The iron case has been touched up and nicely polished, and some one has added an aluminum base to it (about 3/8 inch), and installed an Ingraham pendulum, also has a coffee can lid for rear cover. This clock retains its original hard rubber dial, though the silver background of the numerals is now replaced by the white residue of dried polish. The rubber dials (and even rubber cases for a while) were an effort by Ansonia to reduce shipping damage. The few mentioned items can be corrected with replacement parts from Timesavers, and the bonus is it has high line damascene plated movement. Height 11.25 inches with base.

A “clock improver” person cut a slit in the wood base to access the pendulum. Evidently the 4 inch hole in the back wasn’t adequate. 8 day, strikes hour and half hour on a gong. 2 piece porcelain dial is very good, as are the beveled glass, gilt sash and bezel. Complete with pendulum and back cover. Ly-Ansonia No.1000.

original condition. This clock has an old repair to the top left corner which got slightly chipped and someone sanded it off and applied a little gold paint to disguise the damage. Someone handy with porcelain repair could make this invisible. The hand painted scene shows two deer along side a brook in a field÷nice subject. Retains original paper dial in very good condition, and we have tried to keep our estimate in line with the overall condition. Height 11 inches

This is a very colorful porcelain case beginning with the dark ruby shades on top, gradually changing to light greens as you near the base. The usual gold accents. Pretty pink, white, green, flowers, on front, sides, and top. American sash, porcelain dial, beveled glass, all perfect. This case is one with a cut out on top. A very delicate piece of porcelain suspended between the sides, and very easily broken, I would think. 8 day, half hour gong strike. 11-1/2 inches high, 9-1/2 inches wide. This is another outstanding Royal Bonn case clock from the Miller collection. The New Art Tint colors are primarily pink shades that you just never see in the porcelain clocks, and the designs of snowflakes and flowers painted in gold on the casetop. There are pink flowers on the front and sides and just the right amountof gold accents. It is not one of the larger Royal BonnÕs at 11-1/2 incheshigh, and 9 inches wide, but the style says, donÕt sell me. There is an opening, or handle, above the dial, shell like designs on the 4 corners, and 4 sidescurling down to the feet. American sash, beveled glass, one piece porcelaindial, all near perfect. 8 day, gong strike, running. Case and dial properlysigned by Ansonia, and the German case makers that fired the porcelain case.Ly-Ansonia No. 2595.

This is another fine clock from the Miller collection and a model we have never seen before, probably very difficult to find if you are an Ansonia collector. In addition to being rare, it is a very rare color, Cobalt Blue predominately, with creams, whites, and pinks in the centers. The dark blue is covered with faint gold designs. There are plenty of gold accents, but only on the cobalt blue. Perfect two-piece porcelain dial, correct hands, open escapement, beveled glass, and Rocco sash. The case is 15 inches wide and 12 inches high, perfect condition, no chips, breaks, etc. Pendulum and back door are correct. 8-day movement is running, striking half hours on a Cathedral gong. Cobalt blue cases rarely have the Royal Bonn kiln red stamp. There is a generous amount of gold accent on the blue, flowers painted on the front and sides. The case is 12 inches high, 9.5 inches wide, with a mythical bird head or some weird thing on the top. It looks like his mouth is open wide. You will not see the big indention or hole in the picture. The case is perfect, clean and polished. The movement is 8 day, half hour and hour strike on a standing gong, and it is running. Rococo sash, beveled glass, good one-piece porcelain dial, original hands, back, and pendulum.
