    C.1910, Ansonia Royal Bonn, “La Clair” porcelain mantel clock in very good condition, with restoration. This is one of the more desirable models, however the top finial got knocked off and has been carefully glued back on (looks OK except for the line). The case is white with light blue accents and flowers of vermillion, yellow and blue. With good open escape movement and porcelain dial (movement is rotated slightly in case). Reference Ly, Ansonia Clocks, page 637. If not for the repair, we would have expected this to bring $1500. Height 15″

    C.1904, Ansonia Clock Co., “La Chartres”, 8-day time/strike porcelain mantel clock in good condition with most of the applied gilt work intact. Except for a repaired left rear foot, this would be in excellent condition The case is an attractive 4-tone, starting with dark rose at top, next lt blue, down to yellow in the center, and finishing with green at the base. The porcelain dial and beveled door glass are perfect. The hands are original. The movement has been professionally serviced and is running well. Would be $600 without foot repair. Green with apple green, blue and red “new art tints” and gilt highlights (note the green is a granny smith apple shade that we could not reproduce in the photo; it kept trending toward natural green). French rococo sash and porcelain dial with hairlines at 3 and 4:00 and small chip on edge of dial near 3:00. Ann attractive Bonn that should attracting bidding at this estimate. Height 12” $600-$900

    Ansonia Clock Co. “La Charny”, a Royal Bonn clock, ca early 1900\’s. This is another perfect porcelain clock from a great collection of Ansonia Royal Bonn clocks. They spent a large portion of their life inside a glass case, for display only. It is very clean, shining, properly marked, front and back. This case was also molded leaving openings, on each side of the dial, and flanked with sea serpents?, lions head on top. It stands 11 1/2 inches high, 11 inches wide. Finished in beautiful decorator colors, blues, yellow, rose, light green, and tastefully added gold around the edges. Decorated the same on the sides and top. 8 day, gong strike, French sash, beveled glass, 2 piece porcelain dial and open escapement feature. You won\’t find one nicer .Ly-Ansonia No.2546.

    Ansonia Clock Co., Royal Bonn stamped, “LaCharny”, ca 1904. Signatures and emblems are all fired into the case. It is a great shade of green with pink and white flowers and an adequate sprinkling of gold striping. The case is 11 1/2 inches high, 11 inches wide. This is one of the clocks that stand out from the rest because of the mythical Griffin figures on each side and at the top. One piece porcelain dial and the beveled glass are near perfect. No breaks or chips, very clean case, ready to use. Ly-Ansonia No.2546.

This is a multi color case, with dark green and the bottom, changing to yellow as it rises and ending in dark aqua at the top; the hand painted flowers are bright yellow and dark pink water lilies on a pond. The sides of the case feature griffins set at a 45 andNo.176; angle, the case open behind the griffin heads, allowing light to pass through. With good Bonn Trademark on the rear. This is a very pretty white porcelain case with painted flowers and blue and gold accents. There is a little bit of wear to the applied gilt work but is much better than average. The front edge of the left front foot has a little damage and was repaired with gold paint (the only shortcoming that keeps this item from being excellent). The porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. The movement appears to have been recently serviced and is in running condition. Height 10.25 inches

    C.1901, Ansonia, La Chapelle, Royal Bonn porcelain china clock in excellent original condition. This is the same color scheme as the above lot, green, yellow, aqua, the flowers on this are dark pink roses (under the dial and on both sides of the case. The reliable Ansonia movement has a nice porcelain dial with Arabic numerals plus open escapement in the dial center. No chips nor cracks are evident; with good Bonn Trademark on the rear. Note the china is perforated above the dial, adding to the 3 dimensional affect and allowing light through, moreover, the flowers are molded into the case front and leaves on the sides. A great example of this model. Height 12″
