C.1905, Ansonia, Boar Hunter, clock top garniture, less lance, and with an old coat of gold paint. The statue is in good condition, with no breaks nor repairs. The lance is an easy enough item to make from a piece of welding rod and a shaped lead tip. Height 12 inches

C.1905, Ansonia Clock Co., “Chamberlain”, 8-day crystal regulator clock, brass with pale green Brazilian onyx top and bottom. This clock is in very good condition, except the original gong got lost and has been replaced with a German one (sounds OK). The onyx is very good except for minor roughness on the corners. The porcelain dial has minor hairlines at 5 and 11 o\’clock. The pendulum and ornamentation are original, and the movement is properly signed. The gold top ornament is in excellent condition, never been whacked. The beveled glass panels are all excellent. Clean and running. Clock would be 1000 dollars if all original. Height 17 inches

C.1910, Ansonia, Brass over Iron from their “Colonial Brass Finish\’ series (there are 9 of these). This one is No. 1241 with tiny ivy leaves in the corners. The brass dial with Nouveau style numerals, has been touched up. The clock is otherwise original and in very good condition with nice brass sheen, and in good running order. Height 11\’

C.1904, Ansonia Criterion, spelter and marble mantel clock in very good condition. Note similarity to the French version, lot 482 (and also see lot 49, which has a broken top). With green onyx inserts in the base and top. Retains original hands and cream colored porcelain dial in good condition. Height 16.75

C.1905, Ansonia, “CRYSTAL” model, 4-Glass Regulator in excellent restored condition. The case has been nicely polished and lacquered and the beveled glass is all just fine. The movement has been professionally cleaned and now with a new Swiss lever platform. The time side works great, the strike is sluggish, seems to have too much spring tension on the hammer. Height 9.75 inches

Ansonia Clock Co. “Crystal Palace No. 1 Extra”, ca 1880. H. J. Daviess’ advertised his clocks as “Black Walnut Clocks” and “Visible Pendulum, with Glass Shade” (Crystal Palace) clocks. Well this one isn’t walnut, but oak. Beautifully restored (or original) condition. I don’t think thegreen could have been restored on the dial surround and statue bases. Thewhole clock looks like it has been in a sealed container since 1880. Another of the Miller’s almost perfect clocks. It is 8 day, bell strike, 17-1/2 incheshigh with the glass dome. I won’t bore you with any more sales pitch exceptto say I have never seen or had better. Ly-Ansonia, pages 91-95.

C.1905, Ansonia “Crystal Regulator No. 4″ in excellent original condition. The only minor items to mention are a couple of hairlines in the dial. The rest is immaculate and just the way we like to collect them. The outstanding coloration on this particular clock speaks for itself; we took the photo in sunlight so there would be no doubt about the colors, and there are some resultant shadows on the dial. Note this clock case is identical front and back, including decorations. See lot 11 also. Height 17” Reserve $3100
