This has to be one of the fanciest alarm clocks we’ve seen in a long while, with an Empire/French style case of cat metal with a bronze finish, and with the normal alarm movement mounted from the roof and pillars, and with the added novelty of striking on the bell below, mounted to a finial. One minor defect is the tail to cupids arrow is absent; has been gone a long time. Height 16 inches

Iron case is 13″ high, covered with metal ornaments originally finished in Verde. Most of that finish is gone so looks like dark silver or a pewter shade. All the ornaments are in place. Beveled glass in the brass sash, very nice signed two piece porcelain dial, original hands, and visible escapement. It has the correct metal back cover and correct pendulum bob. Signed 8 day movement is running and striking on a gong. Ly-Ansonia No. 1044.

The 12.75 inches metal case with a Barbedienne finish is very nice, no broken or repaired places. The porcelain dial does have some small hairlines. A hinged back cover opens to the standing gong, round movement signed by Ansonia. It is 8 day and strikes the gong on half hours and hours. Correct pendulum bob, will run some, out of beat or needs some oil. Ly-Ansonia No. 1539.
