C.1880, Ansonia “Crystal Palace\’, less dome. This is a very clean example, except for the absence of the dome. Regains original dial, pendulum, statues, etc. The statues are of a hunter (with flintlock rifle), and a fisher-woman, with net. The gilding is virtually all worn away on the statues, leaving an aged look. Runs and strikes, but needs cleaning; see Palmer”s “Treasury of American Clocks\’, page 201, for the same model and statues. Height 17\’

C.1905, Ansonia, “CRYSTAL” model, 4-Glass Regulator in excellent restored condition. The case has been nicely polished and lacquered and the beveled glass is all just fine. The movement has been professionally cleaned and now with a new Swiss lever platform. The time side works great, the strike is sluggish, seems to have too much spring tension on the hammer. Height 9.75 inches

C.1910, Ansonia Clock Co., CRYSTAL model 4-glass in good original condition, with striking lever movement (original also) signed Ansonia. There is a little oxidation on the base, but overall, this is good. Height 9.75 inches

C.1910, Ansonia CRYSTAL, 4-glass mantel regulator in excellent original condition. Clock retains original Brilliant Sash and Pendulum that were options on the entire crystal series. The beveled glass and porcelain dial are in nice condition. A clean clock. Height 10 inches

C.1914, Ansonia Clock Co., “Crystal” Crystal regulator in near perfect condition. Case is polished brass, but shows a little tarnish from finger prints. A beautiful porcelain dial and all four beveled glasses intact. Clock has a fancy simulated mercury pendulum which is similar to those found on Royal Bonn porcelain crystal regulators. Signed 8-day time and strike movement in GRO. The Crystal model could be ordered with lever escapement or with pendulum movement. Height 9″

Ansonia Clock Company, crystal regulator, “Crown”, C. 1914. The 15.5″ high case came from the factory with a polished brass body and gold gilt ornaments, which included the urn top, the base including feet, and the wrap around ornament just above the dial. The brass body has never been polished. It would certainly improve the looks of the case to polish lightly. The ornaments were restored in a Syrian Bronze shade which looks very nice in place of the bright gold. One of the 4 glasses has a corner crack; imitation mercury 2 jar pendulum has one chipped vial; 2 small corner attachments in the back are missing; the 2 piece porcelain dial has 2 repaired chips and some small hairlines. The urn and urn base is the style normally seen on the Crown model. The urn base was broken and repaired. 8 day, half hour cathedral gong strike, running just fine. This clock is not nearly as bad as I have made it sound. It looks very good and runs great, it is when you take your eye glass and inspect closely that you see the faults. Ly-Ansonia #357.

Ansonia Clock Company, crystal regulator, “Crown”, C. 1914. Case is polished brass, ornaments redone with gold, case is 15.5″ high. The 2 jar, imitation mercury pendulum, 2 piece porcelain dial, and the hands are all near perfect. 8 day movement has been cleaned and is running fine, strikes a standing cathedral gong on the half hours. This is a very nice crystal regulator. Ly-Ansonia #357.

Ansonia Clock Co. crystal regulator, “Crown”, C. 1914. Case body is polished brass, top, base, pendulum, and ornaments are rich gold plated. The original gold remains on 90 percent or more of the ornaments. Some slight wear in places where handled by human hands. Bruce Baziluk, the perfectionist, restored this clock, taking great care as he always does to keep the clock as original as possible and still retain the beauty that Ansonia collector\’s desire. Two piece porcelain dial, open escapement, hands, all clean. 8 day movement, striking hours and half hours on a standing gong, rack and snail count, movement is signed. Case is 15.5″ high, has 4 perfect beveled glasses. Ly-Ansonia #357 .

C.1914, Ansonia Clock Co., “Crown”, 8-day time and strike crystal regulator. This clock is in excellent restored condition and is ready to go into your home. The case has been polished and the movement cleaned. The porcelain dial is perfect and the hands are original. All the beveled glass panels are perfect. The movement is properly die stamped by the maker. Has fancy pendulum with cast leafy ends. Height 15 inches
