Full label on the back says, “The Crystal Palace Clocks, Davies Sole Man’f, Patented Jan 26, 1875”.Walnut case is 16 1/2 inches high, 17 inches with the glass dome. Pendulum stamped “Davies, Pat d”. 8 day spring movement, bell strike. Clock is all original, has not been tinkered with, very nice. Ly-Ansonia, Page 97, same as No.247, No.248 and No.249.

Label on the back states, “Davies Sole ManÕfÕ The Crystal Palace Clocks Patented Jan y 26. 1875”. H. J. DaviessÕ sold his clocks thru the Ansonia trade catalogs and the American Clock Co. catalog. This model was called the “Extra” because of the cupid behind the pendulum. 8 day, bell strike. This is another fine, almost perfect clock from the Miller Collection. It stands 17 inches with the dome. You collectors that like the Crystal PalaceÕs I will say that I have had many of them, none better than this one. I challenge you to find one better.
