Excuse the late in the day photography. I forgot to turn the cartouche numerals to their right direction. I didn’t know it was an Ansonia until I looked at the movement. All the brass decorations are in place, chain is good, excellent pie pan center, stamped brass, red velvet plush is only slightly faded and worn. 8 day, time only, double wind, signed movement, is running. Balance wheel movement took off after I wound both springs. Ly-Ansonia #2406.

in good original condition. The clock was dropped at some time and there is a small dent (flat spot) along the lower left edge of the brass case. The paper dial is excellent, but the best part is the original standing doll, dressed in white jacket and pants with blue trim (could be either boy or girl), with both arms grasping the rope of the swing. Iron case is 11″ wide, 10″ high, has very good black enamel paint all over and gilt ornaments. All the pieces and parts are present and original, no repairs or damage anywhere. Beveled glass in the bronze sash, signed one piece porcelain dial, and correct hands. The back door, pendulum, standing Cathedral gong, and the signed 8 day round movement, are all original to the case. Like all the clocks in this Long Island collection the clock is running and striking. Ly-Ansonia No. 1132.

Two piece porcelain dial is signed, has dirty hairlines around the outer ring, correct hands, and open escapement.
