C.1901, Ansonia Royal Bonn “La Roche” Porcelain china clock in very good original condition. This clock is from a local home and is quite dirty, however, the dial is perfect (a big plus), and this is a desirable Louis XVI pattern. The color is a muted gray-blue, with yellow and violet iris covering both front and sides. The gold highlights show wear from regular dusting. Although it will tick, the movement will need cleaning for reliable operation. Height 13″ Reserve $800

C.1905, Ansonia “LaRoca”, Royal Bonn, porcelain china clock in generally good condition. The dial has a crack and hairlines at 3, and paint loss at numeral 6. The case has no cracks; does have minor roughness on a couple of corners, and with minor yellowing under the dial. The forest green color is accented with gold highlights and violet, yellow and dark pink flowers. Height 11.5 inches

Ansonia Clock Co., Royal Bonn, “LaRoca”, ca 1901. An imposing case, large at 14.25″ wide, and 11.75″ high. It appears much larger. Case style is very unusual, but aren’t they all. Primary color is green, again dark at the base, getting lighter as you reach the top. A goodly amount of gold accent. Urns on the corners, filled with flowers. As usual the flowers are around the dial and on the sides. Flowers are yellow and rose. Ly-Ansonia No. 2589.

C.1904, Ansonia Clock Co., “La Riviere” 8-day time/strike Royal Bonn, porcelain clock in excellent original condition. This is a very attractive dark green case with a painted Dutch scene, with two ladies and a girl in typical costume. There is some wear to the gold highlights on the left side. Retains original open escape movement in good order; there is a minor hairline crack to the porcelain dial near the time winding hole. Height 12.5” $750-$1,000

C.1910, Ansonia, Royal Bonn, La Riviere, porcelain china clock in generally good condition. At the rear service hole, there is a 1 inch crack that has been there for a long time, right next to the trademark. Something dripped on the top of the case and when we wiped it off, it had etched through some of the color (does not show from the front). Finally there is a hairline in the chapter ring near 2, and a small chip in the crystal. Retains good open escape movement in sound condition (does need cleaning). The line drawing in the catalog does not show the 3-dimensional nature of this case. Note this has 4 shaded colors, going from green to yellow, blue and dark red at top. Height 12 inches

Ansonia Clock Co., Royal Bonn, “LaRita”, ca 1901. The very poplar rose colored case, 11.5″ high, and 14″ wide. No other way to describe this one, it is rose colored and has roses painted on the front and sides. A few of the roses are yellow, and some of the other flowers intermingled with theroses, are purple. Gold outlines the vines and leaves around the edges. Ly-Ansosnia No. 2560.

C.1900, Ansonia Royal Bonn “La Rita” shelf clock in clean condition. This clock has Ansonia\’s best round movement with rear rack and snail÷ notice the winding arbors are a bit closer together. This movement calls for a hinged rear cover with cloth insert, which has been replaced on this clock with a sliding dust cover. (see rear view) This clock is in ruby with yellow and dark pink roses; case is very good with no chips nor cracks. The gong is original; looks like a French gong on a brass riser; wooden bottom board has been nicely replaced. Height 11 inches

Ansonia Clock Company Royal Bonn, “La Rambla”, 1904. Case looks identical to the “La Ramba”. Perfect inside and out. You can see the color, beautiful; the 2 piece porcelain dial and open escape, perfect. Hands, sash, beveled glass, back metal cover, all perfect. Case is 12″ high, 10″ wide. 8 day movement strikes the standing gong on hours and half hours. Clean movement is running great. Note the lions head on top, paw feet on the bottom. Ly-Ansonia #2581.
