C.1900, Ansonia BOAR HUNTER in good original condition, exceptions noted. Retains good porcelain dial with original fancy hands. This clock had been disassembled and the screws to hold the clock tower and the statue were lost, so they are simply setting on the base as shown. This is a hard to find model, even though we have other Boar Hunter examples in the sale. See LY No. 474 for additional details (catalog cut shows clock on different base, but this one lines up with holes and appears correct). Height 15.75 inches

C.1901, Ansonia Clock Co., “Cable Lever”, 8-day time/strike lever movement refinished walnut wall clock in very nice condition. The original dial is quite nice for its age with just a little stain and minor flaking. The half-hour strike movement is signed by the maker. The hands are original. There is a very nice label on the back. Height 11 inches

C.1883, Ansonia, CHARMER, ladies boudoir clock. The two little candle holders are missing (go right and left of the mirror), see Ly book, page 482, item 1958. Gilt finish is absent and there are a couple of spots on the mirror. Height 13 inches

Ansonia “Crown” Crystal Regulator Clock, Circa 1920. This is an Ansonia “Crown” crystal regulator with an open escapement. It has an 8 day rack and snail strike on a heavygong. The clock has a rich gold finish in good original condition. The beveled glass panels are excellent as well as the 4″ enamel dial. This clock is in good running order. The dimensions of this clock are 15.5 ” x 8 ” x 7.5 “. Running duration 8 Days

C.1880, Ansonia “Crystal Palace\’, less dome. This is a very clean example, except for the absence of the dome. Regains original dial, pendulum, statues, etc. The statues are of a hunter (with flintlock rifle), and a fisher-woman, with net. The gilding is virtually all worn away on the statues, leaving an aged look. Runs and strikes, but needs cleaning; see Palmer”s “Treasury of American Clocks\’, page 201, for the same model and statues. Height 17\’

C.1880, Ansonia, “Crystal Palace No. 1 Extra”, less dome. This is a clean clock, nicely restored, the walnut base and back splat refinished, rosettes replaced, mov\’t cleaned and the dial re-papered. Retains old finish on statues of Hunter and Fisherwoman. Barrel pendulum is old. We see domes advertised in several places, including Ben Bowen and Sal Cabibbo. Ly priced this at $600 (1998) without dome. Height 17 inches

C.1905, Ansonia Royal Bonn, “Crystal Regulator No. 4” shelf clock in good original condition. This clock is the color of a light gray pearl, with a rainbow glaze, and gold and green highlights. Porcelain dial and all beveled glass are excellent, and there are no chips nor cracks in the case. A few of the gold highlights have been rubbed off due to regular dusting. Retains original fancy pendulum with cast and gilt top and bottom. Runs and strikes OK, but would benefit from cleaning. There has been considerable demand for these Bonn crystal regulators over the past few auctions. Height 17 “
