    The lady long ago lost the index finger on her left hand and the tip of the small finger on the rigHeight hand and other minor losses. The statue was refinished at some time, now with dark brown paint. The clock base is stripped to the spelter, now gone gray, the accent trim with coppering intact. The signed Ansonia movement has a modern platform to replace the original lever; has not been serviced for some time and is sluggish. This is a very uncommon Ansonia figure clock, and despite its problems still has some appeal. Height 25Ó $400-$600

    Case has a Colonial brass finish, 10 1/2 inches high, a lot of brass finish polished off, copper showing. One piece porcelain dial, heavy beveled glass, cast brass sash. Round 8 day movement, strikes a standing gong. Brass back door and bezel, correct pendulum, running. Ly-Ansonia No.1596.

    One of a series of small metal cased clocks with a Colonial Brass finish. Most had a brass dial, this one a little more upscale with a porcelain dial. Case deeply carved or etched with flower and leaf designs. The brass finish has been cleaned or polished removing most of the original brass plating. It is10.5 inches high, 8 day, half hour gong strike, running. Ly-Ansonia #1596. With a good finish should bring 250 dollars. My estimate .

    8 day T&S with 1/2 hour gong striking movement, a signed porcelain dial and open escapement. The 2 chamber pendulum has faux mercury slugs with a nice gold finish. There is a cherub on top.
