this ornate model, with the optional jeweled sash, has a very nice original glossy lacquered surface. The porcelain dial, signed by “C.D. Peacock, Chicago”, has a small crack at the top; the beveled glasses are fine. The simulated mercury pendulum looks good, and the pallets are red jewels. Ht 12.5″.

Condition: Cast ornaments retain most of their original gilding. Porcelain dial has a couple of hairline cracks. The hands are original. Beveled glass panels are perfect. This is really an exceptional example of this model. Movement is signed. Current LY value is 800 dollars. Height 12.25 inches
