Ansonia Clock Co., miniature crystal regulator, “Dorval”, ca 1914.
The little fellow is only 8 7/8 inches high, nice polished brass case. Near mint except for top where some of the finished was polished down close to the metal. 1 piece porcelain dial is signed, 4 perfect beveled glasses. 8 day movement, strikes a hanging gong, running. A mint simulated mercury pendulum. 1 small flaw-the knob is missing on the back door. Timesavers should have one in stock. This may be the best little crystal regulator I have seen. Ly-Ansonia No.375.

C.1905, Ansonia, DORVAL, crystal regulator. This clock has a
nice mercury pendulum, probably from a French clock, that has been shortened to fit this clock (the Ansonia unit had zinc slugs). Movement is clean and running, and glass is all good. Dial has a chip by right winding hole and assorted hairlines. Height 8 7/8 inches

C.1920, Ansonia “Dorval” Crystal Regulator clock
in generally good condition. Both vials of the pendulum have cracks (but are still in one piece), and the right beveled glass has minor edge chips that only show on close inspection. The bonus is the fancy 3″ porcelain dial with floral wreaths painted in polychrome. Was service maybe 20 years ago, but still runs and strikes OK. An attractive clock for the money. Height 8 ” $175-275

Ansonia Clock Co., crystal regulator, “Dorval”, ca 1914.
This is a beautiful, miniature brass case, shining like a new dollar. Signed one piece porcelain dial, 4 perfect beveled glasses. The little guy is 8.8″ high and near perfect. Pawpaw went to sleep with the buffing machine running and polished the top a little close to the base metal. Not bad unless you examine close. Movement is 8 day, striking a hanging gong on half hours and hours, and running strong. Simulated mercury pendulum also mint. Ly-Ansonia No. 375.

Ansonia Clock Co. crystal regulator, the “Dorval”, ca 1914.
One of their smaller glass and brass cased clocks stands just a tad less than 9 inches high. Four beveled glasses, one has a tiny corner chip. You must have better eyes than mine to see it. One pendulum glass is broken, dial has a hairline, and both door knobs are wrong. None of this is real serious, but will take an hour or two to put in good condition. It is 8 day, running, strikes hour and half hour on a gong. Everything is signed properly. Ly-Ansonia #375.
