Ansonia Clock Co. Royal Bonn clock, signed, “La Vogue”, C. 1901. It was both etched in the case and stamped on the case, before the firing. It is 12.75″ high and 11.25″ wide, clean inside and out, perfect case. There are very faint hairlines or imperfections in the 2 piece porcelain dial. Brass sash, rings, and bezel, all polished. Correct hands, open escape mechanism, and pendulum. Movement as always is 8 day, half hour gong strike, running good. Unusual coloring scheme, primary color is cream, with coral-pink highlights on the top and sides, and around the outer edge of the front. Beautiful yellow, purple, and pink flowers. Nice gold accents used discretely and sparingly. Complete and 100% original. Came with a collection of other Ansonia clocks. Ly-Ansonia, page 620.

C.1901, Ansonia Clock Co., “La Vogue” 8-day time and strike Royal Bonn, porcelain clock. The cream colored case has pastel green accents, and is in excellent condition with only minor discoloration in the case under the dial. The well made open escape movement is clean and sound, and the multi color dial is excellent with no signs of damage (has red fleur-de-lis between the numerals). Height 12.75” $800-$1,200

C.1900, Ansonia Royal Bonn “La Vogue” shelf clock in clean condition. There is a glaze crack extending out from the 11 to the left which is just visible in the photo. Otherwise, the clock is in very good condition, with perfect porcelain dial and attractive yellow and dark pink flowers. The open escapement movement is clean and running and with Ansonia multi piece pendulum. Bright trademark and model name on rear of case; original dust cover. Height 12 “

C.1912, Ansonia Clock Co., “La Vire”, Royal Bonn porcelain china clock in excellent original condition (dirty, needs clean). This case has the desirable 4-color case that came into vogue after 1910, starts at dark rose at the top, down to blue, then to yellow and green in succession. The hand painted flowers below the dial show nice detail. In 20 years of selling Bonns, this is the first La Vire we have had; note the delicate little pierced work at top center. The illustration in Lyis Ansonia book (figure 2582, page 606) does not do the clock justice; it is really impressive in person. Original movement has never been out of the case and needs cleaning. Ansonia Clock Co., Royal Bonn, “LaVinda”, ca 1901. Another great rose colored case. The flowers are inside a heart shaped circle around the dial. Many colors of small flowers from lavender, rose, yellow, and white. As usual there are the well placed gold highlights. The case is 11.5″ high, 14.5″ wide. Ly-Ansonia No. 2550.

Ansonia Clock Co. “La Vinda”, Royal Bonn, ca 1901. Another extraordinary porcelain clock from the collection of an elderly gentleman who had collected 40 years, and it became time to disperse his clocks. He probably bought this one late in his collecting days, because he didn\’t clean and shine it before putting it in the display case. Other than 1 small dial hairline, I can\’t see anything here other than perfect. All his clocks were running when he put them in the display case, but some probably haven\’t been wound in 30 years. You know they will need oil and maybe a jump start to get going. This is a seldom seen case style, and a large case standing 14 1/2 inches high and 11 1/2 inches wide. There are a great many colors, hard to distinguish some, or even give a primary color. There are yellows, blues, greens, pinks, and many shades of many other colors. There is just a smidgen of gold, mostly on the base. 8 day, gong strike, Rocco sash, beveled glass, 2 piece porcelain dial and open escape. Ly-Ansonia No.2550.

Ansonia Clock Co., Royal Bonn case, “LaVeta”, properly stamped on the case, ca 1901. Case is dark to medium blue, rose, yellow, green, and flowers and leaves all over the case. It is 10 inches high, 9 inches wide. 8 day, half hour gong strike, and running. French sash, beveled glass, 2 piece porcelain dial has faint hairlines around the 2 winding arbors, open escapement. Correct pendulum and back door. This came with a fine collection of Ansonia porcelain clocks.

C.1904, Ansonia Royal Bonn “LaVeta” , with yellow and pink floral decorations and accent color of dark red-clay, plus gold highlights. Retains original paper dial with some wear and discoloration (chapter markers rubbed off from 9 to 11). Movement is clean and running. The case is perfect and with good rear Bonn signature.
