This 11 inch case has not been refinished like the preceding clocks, and in fact might be due some new black paint. Ornaments are bronze, in this case that is just the lions and rings on the clock ends. There is still a goodly amount of gold in the etchings, original back door and pendulum. 2 piece porcelain dial with open escape, hairlines at 10, 1, and 4. Good beveled glass in the sash. 8 day movement, half hour gong strike, clock running. This model came with top pieces if you wanted. There has never been a hole in the top, so evidently came without an ornament. Ly-Ansonia #1037.

Excellent original mahogany case, 15.5 inches, front bezel cleaned, body of case has the original finiah. I should stop right here and move on to the next clock. The 12 inches metal dial looked suspicious so I pulled the pan. New pan and new paint, new bezel assembly, an 8 day bell striking movement that is not Ansonia. It is signed CM, I suspect eastern Europe. All this said, it is a good looking gallery. I hope it goes to a good home.

16 inch mahogany case, 12 inch dial, 8 day pendulum movement. Like the previous gallery this one is a little strange also, probably has been residing in Europe somewhere for a long time. The large painted inner dial has the Ansonia name and logo at the top, and at the bottom is painted, “Gani & Sons, Madras”. Just below the wind arbor someone painted in red, “Wed”, surely to remind the hired help to wind the clock on Wednesday. Like all in this collection it is running very good. Brass bezel and glass over the painted dial. Dial is beginning to flake slightly in places. Trap door on the bottom to access the pendulum. Ly-Ansonia #689.
