Mahogany veneered case is 20″ tall, veneer is good all over, no repairs, and there are a few tiny chips along the bottom board. Unusual tablet, named, “The Highland Chase”. The original dial and the original tablet, both have had paint chips now covered over during the case restoration. Almost a complete label inside, old brass bob, and the original old coil gong. The movement is only a one day runner, and strikes the coil gong on the hours. It is running and striking properly. Ly-Ansonia, pages 440-441.

Condition: overall very good original condition. The original dial is a bit dark, but could be cleaned. Except for one chip on the base, the veneer is exceptional, bright and lively with dark stripes. Clock retains original hands and a very good decalomania glass of a rose in the door. This label is unusual as this firm primarily made movements for the trade, but sold few cased clocks. Ht 19.2″ [49cm]
