Ansonia Clock Co. Blue Delft porcelain case, “Saranac” model, ca 1900.
As I have stat-ed previously there are no blue delft clocks shown in the catalogs. The very knowledgeable folks that built this collection some-where found the picture and name. It is 12 inches high, near perfect all over, well painted Dutch scenes all over the front, sides, and top. Like all china clocks by Ansonia, typical movement, pendulum, door, sash, one piece porcelain dial. They don’t come any better.

Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, “Saranac” Dutch motif, 8 day, time and strike, porcelain mantel clock, c1900
this Dutch-theme model is not shown in Ly, but the name is clearly marked on the rear. The case is in very good condition with the expected light crazing to the hand-painted fired finish. The porcelain dial, cast brass bezel, and porcelain dial all are fine. Ht 12″
