Jul 2020 – 304 Antique American Clocks Ansonia Brass & Copper Co. “Rose & Gilt Cottage”, ca. 1874. A 13.5-inch rosewood-veneered case with gilt trim around the door. A bit of damage to the veneer at the top; both glasses original, the tablet rebacked. The dial is new as are the hands. The 30-hour time-and-strike movement is signed Waterbury and so likely a replacement. It is running and striking. A good AB&C company label inside.
