Condition: overall excellent original, good glass onyx and dial. Seems to be running fine. Ready to enjoy. The only thing that keeps this from being outstanding is a small crack at the winding hole in the dial. For reference, see Tran Ly’s Ansonia book [2nd edition], page 131, fig 307. Ansonia Clock Co., New York, NY, “Premier”, 8 day, time and strike, onyx, brass and glass crystal regulator with visible escapement, c1914
this clock is in very good original condition with good beveled glasses, porcelain dial, toned patina on the brass, and simulated mercury pendulum. The green stone top has a couple of small corner chips at the back, not really noticeable. One of the red jewel pallet pins is broken short but still seems to engage with the escape wheel. The signed movement is the round French style with rack and snail striking. Ht 13.5″
