The case is in excellent condition. Much of the gilt finish has worn away over time leaving the rich surface lustre of the bronze case. The porcelain dial is in excellent condition. The hands are original. The rack and snail strike movement is signed. The mahogany top and base have a nicely aged original finish. The front, back and one side door glass have small chips to the beveled edges.
