C.1904, Ansonia Clock Co., MARCHIONESS, fancy 4-glass crystal regulator, fitted with “brilliant” sash and pendulum.
Condition: excellent original condition in every respect. Interestingly this model shows in Ly’s Ansonia book [1998], page 120, where Jack Wyer’s No. 336 is identified as a Viscount, however if you look closely you can see he has a Marchioness also (large finial base on flat top). All 4 models in this series are very similar. Height 15.75 inches [ 40cm]

The case is in excellent condition and retains much of its gilt ornamentation. The porcelain dial has two minor hairline cracks, one at 4:30 and one at 10. The hands are original. The four beveled glass panels show no evidence of chipping. The movement is signed.
