The Case Has 4 Full Tall Columns And 2 Short Full Columns And A Placque At The Peak Top All Finished In Gold. The Gilt Arabic Dial Has A French Rococo Sash. The 8 Day Springwound Movement Strikes The Hours And 1/2 Hour On A Coiled Gong. Height 12 1/4″ X Width 15 1/4″ X Depth 6 1/4″

Ansonia Clock Co., New York, “Loire”, 8 day, time and strike spring brass movement enameled iron case mantel clock.
Restored enameled iron case has a few pin holes in the finish at the front curved edge below the dial and some at the top. Original porcelain dial has a hairline at 7 o’clock and repairs at 2 and 4 o’clock. Movement is signed.
