this unusual model is not listed in Ly book. Rich cobalt blue, enhanced with gold highlights and specks, surrounds multicolor floral patterns on white backgrounds. Porcelain dial, cast bezel and beveled glass all are fine. Movement ticks and strikes but probably needs cleaning. Ht 11″

C.1905, Ansonia Clock Co., “La Landes”, 8-day time/strike porcelain mantel clock.
Condition: This colorful case is in very pretty, but unfortunately has a crack in the case from about the 7:30 position on down; you can not see the crack, but can feel it with your fingernail; two small cracks on rear of case near the base. The rest of case is fine. Porcelain dial is perfect and the hands original. The movement has been cleaned and the dial and bezel polished. Although the model name is stenciled on the rear or the case, we could not find it illustrated in the Ansonia catalog. Height 11.25 inches

this China case is clearly named on the back although not shown in Ly. It is in excellent original condition with just slight losses to the gold accents and the expected light crazing on the fired surface. The porcelain dial has a few very faint hairlines; the thick beveled glass and its bright cast brass bezel are fine. Ht 11″
