Jul 2020 – 156 Antique American Clocks Ansonia “La Marne”, ca. 1901. A 12-inch by 13-inch wide Royal Bonn highlighted in green with pink and yellow roses. No cracks or chips, some crazing and slight discoloration in spots. Porcelain dial with visible escapement is without flaws, signed 8-day movement is running and striking on the hours and half-hours on a cathedral gong.

The colored flowers are crisp, the gold highlights are intact and there are no chips nor cracks in the case. The cream colored case has light blue accents in addition to the dark pink flowers. This particular clock has the French sash with ivory colored dial with fancy red separators between the Arabic numerals. Open escape movement appears clean and running fine. Height 12 inches

the front right bottom corner has a chip and crack, and there are a few other cracks visible on the case back, but otherwise the case is in good condition with bold hand-colored flowers and gold accents. The signed porcelain dial, except for darkening behind the escape wheel, and beveled glass are fine; the visible pallets are steel. The movement is dark and will need service. Ht 12 1/4″
