Ansonia Clock Co. hanging clock, “Bagdad”, ca 1904. Oak case, 50-1/2 inches high, glass sides. Dark mahogany case, like the previous clocks, it is all original, hasn’t been cleaned or tinkered with in any way. The originalpaper dial has some wear, and one of the pegs holding the top to the case, is missing. Label on the back, now covered with plastic to preserve it. 8day, time only, spring driven. This is one of the few Bagdad’s I have seenthat has not had a break in the top or base ornaments. Ly-Ansonia, page 182-183.
