Ansonia Clock Co figure clock, "Victory", ca 1894. The metal case and statue are 15 inches high and 17 1/2 inches wide Base has black enameled iron finish and has retained the paint except for a couple of small pings Movement is 8 day and running, strikes half hours on a gong 2 piece porcelain dial is mint, has fancy hands, nicer than usual bezel with a beveled glass The metal statue, clock tower, metal ornaments are a dark, dirty gray I am not sure what finish was on this piece originally The catalogs say Japanese Bronze A good cleaning and a bronze finish would really help Ly-Ansonia No.508
