Catalog Description:

Ansonia Clock Co. metal cased clock base, "Undine". It accommodates one of several different statues. This one is an unidentified statue, ca 1904. The pieces were refinished in a Greecian Verde color. Total height is 26 1/2 inches. A piece of shell, like leaves, on the right side, was broken off, filed smooth and refinished. You couldn\'t tell if you didn\'t have an Ansonia book to compare it to. Movement is 8 day, half hour strike, correct pendulum and back door. The porcelain dial has a small hairline, French sash, beveled glass, and hands are not correct. Ly-Ansonia No.1491.
