C.1874, American Clock Co., "Tucker No. 2" 30-hour lever movement iron cased mantle timepiece (with bronze finish). This example is in excellent original condition. The movement is signed "S. E. Root, Bristol, CT" Although not uncommon, these are not usually found in this nice of condition. These appeared in the Ansonia catalog and are sometimes mistakenly described as Ansonia models.
