Antique Ansonia "Triumph" Model Clock

Previous Model - Next Model
Triumph

Catalog Description:

Ansonia Clock Co. mantle clock, "Triumph", ca 1880. These were made in black walnut and oak. Both models are pictured here side by side. The cases are 24 1/2 inches high. They came with silver or gold washed cupids. Both of these sets are original which you rarely see on these clocks as they were easily lost. Paper dial has some fingernail scrapes. Burl sections on the base with proper ornaments and finials, top and bottom. Good label. 8 day, gong strike, alarms on a cup bell. I have sold dozens of this model in our auctions but have never had a pair that were all original, clean, and running. Ly-Ansonia No.1722 & page 444.
