Antique Ansonia "Record" Model Clock

Previous Model - Next Model

Catalog Description:

Ansonia Clock Co. porcelain case, "Record", C. 1901. Nice size case is 12.75" wide, 11 inches high. Primary color is Apple Green and cream, lots of gold striping, small blossoms front and sides. Considerable style to the case where on first glance you might consider it boxy. There are no chips, breaks, or repairs. It is a fine case with the correct back door cover and pendulum. The movement is 8 day, strikes a standing gong on the half hours, and running. Rocco sash, beveled glass, 2 piece porcelain dial with outside escapement, correct hands, all near perfect. This clock is one of a large series, with names beginning with the letter, "R". All very similar in style. Ly-Ansonia #2571.
