Catalog Description:

Ansonia metal cased clock, "Nonpareil", ca 1904. 8 day movement striking half hours on a gong, and running. Very nice porcelain dial with painted numbers, beveled glass, bezel with cut stones all around, all clear crystal and all present. Inlaid and painted porcelain panels, pictures of angels and cherubs making clouds. A large cherub sitting on top of the clock. Case of base metal covered with 2 or 3 finishes. A thick coat of bronze or gold finish under the present coat of grime and an old coat of dull gold paint. Will refinish nicely if you are willing to devote the time. Case covered with leaves, flowers, and vines. Ly-Ansonia No.1554.
