C.1880, Ansonia Clock Co., "Nile", 8-day time/strike enameled iron case mantel clock, less top urn (see Ly, fig 988). Other that the missing urn (eagle now in hole), the case is in generally good condition with some paint flaking in various places. The porcelain dial has damage around the winding holes, from using a key too large. There is a label on the back of the case, dark but legible. In original condition it would bring $450. Height 15” $200-$250
