Catalog Description:

Ansonia Clock Co. Royal Bonn, "La Vendee", C. 1904. All the correct markings on the back of the case, no breaks or cracks, a very good, colorful case, larger than most at 14.5" high and 13" wide. Ansonia decorated this model in many ways; this one is Ruby tints at the top, apple tint in the middle, to green at the base. Sufficient gold accents and nice looking flowers on all sides. Rocco sash, beveled glass, 2 piece porcelain visible escapement dial, correct hands, all near perfect. 8 day movement strikes half hours on a standing gong, runs very well. The movement is clean and bright, correct pendulum and back door cover. Ly-Ansonia, page 638.
