Antique Ansonia "La Bretagne" Model Clock

Catalog Description:

C.1900, Ansonia Royal Bonn "La Bretagne" (Britain), Porcelain china clock in very good original condition. This was one of Ansonia\'s more popular models, appearing in catalogs from 1895 through 1915; see Ly\'s Ansonia book, page 616 for 4 different decorative designs. This particular one is with a tri-color scheme, lime green at top, down to yellow in the center and forest green at the base. The hand painted iris, done in yellow and dark pink, are of exceptional quality. The dial and case are excellent; the movement is complete and sound, but is very dirty and but will require service. Bonn trademark is especially prominent. Will clean up nicely. Height 15" Reserve $1000
