Antique Ansonia "Fleur De Lys and No. 1176" Model Clock

Previous Model - Next Model
Fleur De Lys and No. 1176

Catalog Description:

C.1904, Ansonia "FLEUR DE LYS and No 1176", in very good original condition, except for a missing rear bezel and door (accordingly, the movement is loose in the case). But notice the original "Art Nouveau" finish on the statue (silver gown), and the muted tones on the flowers. See also next lot; these Nouveau finishes were optional on virtually all of the figural clocks, starting with the 1904 catalog. This is a very interesting figure, the lady with sea shells in her hair, standing between a water lily and a sea shell, and the base with iris, moss rose and other bladed plants. Height 24 inches
