Ansonia Clock Co. "8 Inch Drop Octagon-R.C.", ca 1901. 8 day movement strikes half hours and hours on a coil wire gong. Recently serviced and runs strong. The old oak case is only 19 1/2 inches high, but is as good as good as its bigger brothers. The case is untouched and very attractive in the dark color. Full label, old signed dial, good glasses.
